The IST ALumni Assocation is aimed at keeping the IST alumni, in Tanzania and abroad, abreast with the association's work. The IST Alumni Association was officially formed in September 2004, with Mr. Jayesh Shah as the President. But how did it come about after so many years? Thanks to Mr. Simon Leslie, the Chief Executive Officer at the time, who was the one who planted the seed and was keen to see an Alumni Association formed before he left IST. Mr. Leslie with his charm and persuasion, managed to get a group of alumni together, who were Jayesh Shah, Jitesh ladwa, Riaz Bharwani, Shaffin Jamal, and Johnny Metzger. |
